Kestrel is one of the UK’s leading manufacturers of PVC-u Roofline and Cladding profiles, pioneering many designs which have now become industry standards.

PVC is a highly sustainable material. The Building Research Establishment (BRE) currently quotes a reference service life of 35 years for PVC construction products, which allows for the more limited durability of incorporated non-PVC components such as metal hinges. PVC Roofline and Cladding profiles have no non-PVC components and a life span in excess of 60 years is considered likely. The absence of maintenance and replacement costs over this period represents a considerable saving over the costs of alternative materials. As recommended by the European Commission, Parliament and UK Government, Kestrel cellular PVC does not contain lead. With more than a decade of production based on this formulation, specifiers have real time evidence of the colourfastness of Kestrel white cellular PVC profiles, which are backed by a 15 Year Guarantee against discolouration. When eventually replaced, Kestrel  profiles can be easily identified and fully recycled.

Applications

Replacement / New Build - Kestrel offers a comprehensive range of load bearing JUMBO fascia boards in a choice of profiles including standard Square, Bullnose and decorative Ogee designs, all of which feature a groove for soffit location.

Decorative Bargeboard Systems, provide increased design choice. Kestrel provides a system of moulded components, which can be used in varying combinations to produce highly decorative feature bargeboards.

The Decorative
Roofline range of convex and concave bargeboards are produced from boards with the design created by an angled cut to the lower edge. They are fitted as per conventional bargeboards directly to the gable ladder, rafters or other support timber. Two designs are available ex-stock, but bespoke designs can be manufactured subject to minimum quantity restrictions.

Refurbishment - Kestrel offers a range of  cover boards in both traditional square and decorative ogee designs featuring a return bottom leg to receive lay-on soffits. CAPPIT boards feature a unique design allowing the board to stand-off the existing fascia.

Eaves Ventilation - To complement the Kestrel range of fascia profiles, ventilated soffits are available with either a single or double row of air slots to provide maximum ventilation. Tee Gee and Open V profiles are interlocking cladding profiles with one row of slots providing the required air gap and also for providing scope for creating deep soffit designs.

Cladding System - Kestrel offer a comprehensive range of Cladding profiles in a choice of four styles (Shiplap, Open V, Tee Gee or Feather Edge) in various cover widths for horizontal, vertical and diagonal / herringbone installation.
